These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of The Martial Man – Online Community, including our website, online courses, community features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
“The Martial Man,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Martial Man PTE. LTD., the company operating The Martial Man – Online Community.
“User,” “you,” or “your” refers to any individual accessing or using the Service.
“Website” refers to the The Martial Man website and any related subdomains.
“Service” refers to the online courses, community platform, and any related content or functionality offered through the Website.
“User Content” refers to any content submitted, posted, or uploaded by users, including comments, posts, images, videos, or other materials.
“User Credentials” refers to the username, password, and other login information used to access the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- you are legally able to enter into binding agreements
- all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account.
You agree that:
- you will provide accurate registration information
- you will maintain the security of your login credentials
- you will not share your account with others
- you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Payments, Subscriptions & Renewals
Some parts of the Service are paid. The price and terms of anything you buy are shown before you confirm, and by completing a purchase you authorise the charge.
One-time purchases. A course bought outright is a one-time charge that gives you ongoing access to that course. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Subscriptions and automatic renewal. Some options — such as Course Guide Plus and certain Circle memberships — are subscriptions. Unless stated otherwise, a subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (for example, monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, using your saved payment method, until you cancel.
Canceling. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and partial periods are not refunded except as required by law or our Refund Policy.
Free trials. Where a free trial is offered, you are not charged until the trial ends. If you do not cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the price shown, and the automatic-renewal terms above apply.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices. Any change applies from your next billing period, and we will give notice as required by law so you can cancel before it takes effect.
Payment processing and taxes. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors, and your use of their services may be subject to their terms. Prices may be exclusive of taxes, which are added where applicable.
App Store purchases. Purchases made through our iOS app are processed and managed by Apple under the App Store’s terms; billing, renewals, and refunds for those purchases are handled by Apple.
Paid Circles. Paid Circle memberships are sold by the instructors who host them and are billed through our checkout, with the payment going to that host. Refunds for Circle payments are handled as described in our Refund Policy and the host’s Creator Terms.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend or downgrade paid access until payment succeeds.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
You must not:
- upload or distribute unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or obscene content
- violate the intellectual property rights of others
- attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the Service
- transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- send spam or unsolicited communications
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Intellectual Property
All content provided through the Service, including but not limited to:
- course videos
- written materials
- images
- logos
- branding
- platform design
is the property of Martial Man PTE. LTD. or its instructors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell any content without written permission.
Content published by Circle hosts is governed by the Creator Terms — hosts keep ownership of their content.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service.
However, by posting content on the Service you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the Service.
You are solely responsible for any content you post.
8. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
- the Service will always be available
- the Service will be uninterrupted
- the Service will be error-free.
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, payments, analytics, or other services.
We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or availability of these third-party services.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee that:
- the Service will meet your expectations
- information provided will always be accurate or complete
- errors will be corrected.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Martial Man PTE. LTD. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:
- your use of the Service
- inability to access the Service
- unauthorized access to your account
- content posted by users.
If liability is found, it shall not exceed the greater of:
- USD $1,000, or
- the total amount paid by you for the Service during the previous 12 months.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Martial Man PTE. LTD., its officers, employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
- your use of the Service
- your violation of these Terms
- your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Singapore.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Martial Man PTE. LTD. regarding the use of the Service.
They supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
16. Amendments
We may update these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised Last Updated date.
Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Notices
We may provide notices through:

- your user account
- email communication.
Notices sent via email will be considered received within 24 hours of being sent.
