About this course

Yan Shou Gong is a Nei Gong system of the Southern Shaolin tradition, historically transmitted only to the most senior monks of the temple. This course, Master Yap Boh Heong's third, presents sets thirteen through eighteen, together with the testing methods and applications for the sets taught in the earlier courses.

This is advanced material. It assumes the foundation built across the first two courses, and enrollment requires prior completion of Yan Shou Gong sets one through six and sets seven through twelve. With that groundwork in place, sets thirteen through eighteen extend the practitioner's command of the system considerably.

The qualities that distinguish Yan Shou Gong continue here: a directness of method that produces demonstrable internal skill in a comparatively short time, and the parallel development of kinetic energy and the mind that underlies both its martial and its restorative dimensions.

Instruction proceeds across 48 video lessons, guiding the practitioner through the movements and applications of the advanced sets in detail.

Yan Shou Gong is a traditional practice for health and martial cultivation. It is not medical treatment and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or care. If you have an existing health condition or are recovering from injury, consult a qualified practitioner before beginning.
